I am the artist and creative behind Valley Road Art. 

 

I fell in love with making art as a child and never looked back. There is this inexplainable connection to something greater than myself when I paint. It provides a sense of fulfillment that I cannot find anywhere else. I am a naturally curious person and the act of making art allows me to explore whatever pops into my mind. It is the tool I use to more deeply understand the world at large. I have found that it provides the space necessary for deep healing and reflection. It gives my mind an outlet for expressing myself beyond words. Even as I type this, I know I am not fully articulating my thoughts but when I paint I feel connected to this universal language that can easily be understood and felt. I am deeply grateful for this practice and I hope to inspire others to invite more creativity into their lives. My wish is for everyone to experience the same amount of joy and fulfillment it brings me. 

 

When I am painting landscapes, I am reminded of the beauty that surrounds me and work diligently to capture this with each brush stroke. I am fortunate enough to live in Vermont. The scenery here heavily influences my work. My studio located on Valley Road, hence the name, is where I get to work translating all my thoughts and ideas onto canvas.
